Hanna Heritage Place is exploring options for the former Elmer’s Restaurant building at the corner of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard and Northwest Mulholland Drive in Roseburg, according to property co-owner Bruce Hanna.

Hanna told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that the company is meeting with interested restaurant operators and considering many possibilities. Elmer’s closed at the beginning of August. The Grants Pass based restaurant was owned by Thomason Hospitality Group, which has more than 60 restaurants in Oregon and northern California, including six Elmer’s.

Hanna said the current restaurant building is about 9,100 square feet. A new Holiday Inn Express is under construction to the north of the former Elmer’s. Hanna said developers hope to have that project completed in the spring of 2026.
