Roseburg Police jailed a man for a warrant after contacting him on Tuesday morning.

An RPD report said at 10:20 a.m. officers contacted the 47-year-old in the 1400 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard after he was seen holding a beer can, which later turned out to be empty. During the contact, officers learned the man had a warrant out for his arrest from of the Grants Pass Police Department.

He was detained on $35,000 bail.
