A Cottage Grove woman was jailed following a DUII incident Friday night.

A Douglas County Sherrif’s Office report said at approximately 9:50 p.m. a deputy was observing traffic at the intersection of West B Avenue and South Cedar Street in Drain. He watched an SUV blow through the intersection while traveling at approximately 25 miles per hour. The deputy initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and contacted the driver who was reportedly intoxicated.

The woman could allegedly barely perform any of the standard field sobriety tests and was argumentative. When told she was under arrest, the woman reportedly resisted and was taken to jail where she refused to provide a blood sample. 42-year-old Amanda Tellason was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving and resisting arrest. She was detained without bail.
