A Myrtle Creek woman was jailed following a traffic stop on Friday.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 1:00 a.m. a deputy stopped a vehicle for several traffic violations near the intersection of Brockway Road and Collins Road in the Winston area. The driver initially provided a false name and date of birth. After informing her that the photo linked to the name she provided was not of her, she maintained that she was that person.

The woman was detained and placed in the patrol vehicle. The deputy was eventually able to determine that the driver was 39-year-old Danielle Logan. When told that the deputy knew who she really was and that she was suspended and had warrants, the woman still maintained that she was the person she had named first.

There was a user amount of a clear crystal substance near the driver’s seat where the deputy found Logan’s license inside her wallet. Ultimately the woman admitted that she was Danielle Logan. She said she knew about the warrants and didn’t want to go to jail.

Logan was charged with driving while suspended, providing false information to a police officer, unlawful possession of meth and for a parole violation. She was detailed without bail.
