ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOLLOWING ALLEGED DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Roseburg Police jailed a man following an alleged disorderly conduct incident on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 4:45 p.m. 44-year-old Joshua Phegley was allegedly causing a large disturbance at a business in the 700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. Officers arrived on the scene and learned the man had slapped a customer in the back before exiting the business. Officers contacted Phegley nearby with an open beer can. He also had trash strewn all around him. He admitted to causing the disturbance.

Plegley was taken into custody and charged with harassment, second-degree disorderly conduct, offensive littering and drinking in public. He was detained on $5,000 bail.
