TWO DAYS WITH ABOVE SEASONAL NORMS EXPECTED

The Umpqua Valley is expecting two more days of above normal afternoon high temperatures for this time of year.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said Roseburg will be in the mid 80’s Monday and the mid 90’s on Tuesday before dropping to the 70s for the rest of the week. Tuesday could see a record high temperature for the date. The record for September 24th is 95 degrees, set in 1997. Forecasters said the normal high temperature for this time of year in Roseburg is 78 degrees.

The mercury reached 85 degrees Sunday and 80 degrees Saturday at the Roseburg Regional Airport.
