Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged theft incident on Monday.

An RPD report said at 9:40 p.m. the 39-year-old allegedly stole two tents from a business in the 2100 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway and ran out of the fire exit doors. He was located hiding in a timbered area nearby and was charged with third-degree theft. Bail was set at $1,250.
