ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR UNLAWFUL ENTRY INTO A MOTOR VEHICLE

Roseburg Police jailed a man for unlawful entry into a motor vehicle on Friday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 4:20 p.m. officers contacted the 31-year-old at a business in the 500 block of Southeast Oak Street after a caller said that someone had broken into a car. The man was taken into custody without issue. Officers learned the suspect had broken the rear- view mirror on the vehicle.

He was also charged with second-degree criminal mischief and was given his third city exclusion notice. Bail was set at $12,500.
