Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office jailed a man on weapon and drug charges on Wednesday.

A DCSO report said at approximately 10:30 a.m. a search warrant was executed at a residence in the 1300 block of Westview Drive in the Wilbur area. During the execution of the warrant, 39-year-old Brian Coulombe was taken into custody on charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm and for unlawful possession of methamphetamine. The report said a double barrel shotgun and close to 1.5 ounces of methamphetamine were located during the search.

Coulombe was detained without bail. No further information was released by DCSO.
