Thrive Umpqua has a long list of events this month.
That includes:
*Monthly bird field trip with the Umpqua Valley Audubon Society on Saturday at 7:00 a.m. at Ford’s Pond in Sutherlin. No registration is required. Loaner binoculars are available for adults and children.
*UC Veg garden workshop this Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church on West Harvard Avenue in Roseburg. Learn about preparing gardens for winter. Registration is required.
*Happier Hour Painting Party on Thursday, September 19th at the Thrive Umpqua Office on Southeast Jackson Street in downtown Roseburg. It runs from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Participants enjoy non-alcoholic beverages while doing a creative activity.
*Paint the Town Green on Friday, September 20th from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Thrive Umpqua office. This special open house will help mark Umpqua Community College’s 60th anniversary. Green smoothies and a pop-up farmstand will be featured.
*Love Your Neighborhood downtown cleanup is Wednesday September 25th from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. starting at the Thrive Umpqua office. All necessary supplies will be provided.
