An Air Pollution Advisory has been issued by the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality and remains in effect through 5:00 p.m. Wednesday.
The Advisory is in place for eastern Douglas, northern Klamath and northern Lake counties.
Wildfires burning in the region combined with forecast conditions will cause air quality levels to fluctuate and could be at unhealthy levels.
DEQ said smoke levels can change rapidly depending on the weather. People at risk include infants and young children, people with heart or lung disease, older adults and those who are pregnant.
