The Douglas County Board of Commissioners are inviting residents to attend two Listening Sessions hosted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Portland District – Regulatory Branch, on Monday September 23rd.
A county release said these sessions provide a platform for the community to engage directly with the Corps regarding the Regulatory Programs, including processes, changes, and area projects.
Sessions will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Roseburg Public Library. Due to limited capacity, participants who wish to comment or ask questions are required to sign up in advance.
Staff will deliver brief welcoming remarks, introductions and announcements before dedicating the majority of the time to listening to public comments and engaging in questions and answers.
To sign up to comment, email: portlandregulatory@usace.army.mil. Include name, phone number and which session. The deadline to sign up is September 16th.
