Roseburg Police jailed a transient following an alleged theft incident on Wednesday.

An RPD report said 24-year-old Kendell Holbrook was allegedly seen on video surveillance in the secure area of the Roseburg Public Safety Center on Southeast Douglas Avenue. Holbrook reportedly stole a bike from the secure area and fled with it.

He was located at approximately 11:20 a.m. in the 800 block of Northwest Highland Street. When detained, Holbrook allegedly had a small amount of methamphetamine in his possession.

He was charged with obstructing governmental administration, second-degree criminal trespass, and third-degree theft. Holbrook was cited for unlawful possession of meth. Bail was set at $13,750.
