Greater Douglas United Way has their 42nd annual Dave Johnson Memorial Golf Tournament happening next Thursday.

The event returns to Bar Run Golf Course west of Roseburg. Proceeds will benefit GDUW’s annual fundraising campaign thanks to generous loyal sponsors, enthusiastic golfers, volunteers and United Way staff.

The tournament is sponsored by Oregon Pacific Bank, Banner Bank, Umpqua Bank, US Bank, Cascade Community Credit Union and Oregon Community Credit Union. The tournament is a 4-person format with a 10:00 a.m. shotgun start.

During the event, hole-in-one contests will provide the opportunity for golfers to win a Harley Davidson, golf club & apparel packages or a golf vacation. Other contests will take place as well.

An awards presentation, snacks and a meal will also be part of the day’s festivities.

Entry is $125. The field is limited to 36 teams. Make team or individual reservations by calling Greater Douglas United Way at 672-1734.
