Sutherlin Police jailed a fugitive for a warrant and drug crimes early Sunday.

An SPD report said at 12:00 a.m. 38-year-old Colby Woods was contacted in the 200 block of East Central Avenue and had a failure to appear warrant for his arrest. During a search, he was found to have suspected fentanyl and methamphetamine in his possession. A detainer was authorized for a parole violation in addition to the warrant and misdemeanor drug crimes.

Woods was also charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine, and unlawful possession of a schedule-II controlled substance. He was detained without bail.
