A Canyonville woman was taken to the hospital after an ATV wreck on Saturday.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said just before 9:00 p.m. a caller said the woman had been in the accident in the 15000 block of South Myrtle Road in the Red Top area, and he was transporting her to a business in Myrtle Creek.

The 31-year-old was complaining of a head injury and was in and out of consciousness. The deputy contacted the victim, who had road-rash on her hands and head. She complained of multiple injuries. The woman said a group was coming down off Red Top when her ATV rounded a corner and ran into the back of a friend’s ATV. A juvenile passenger in the victim’s ATV was not injured.

The woman was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center to be evaluated.
