Roseburg Police jailed a woman following an alleged harassment incident on Monday.

An RPD report said just after 8:00 p.m. officers responded to a disturbance in the 1700 block of Northeast Almeda Avenue. Upon arrival, they heard an active disturbance inside. When they contacted the residents, the 46-year-old was yelling at the other residents.

The woman allegedly spit on a victim, who wished to pursue criminal charges. Police took the woman into custody and transported her to corrections. She was charged with harassment and was detained on $2,500 bail.
