ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR REPORTED OVERNIGHT CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

Roseburg Police jailed a man for a reported overnight incident early Tuesday.

An RPD report said just after 5:50 a.m. an officer responded to Denny’s Restaurant in the 300 block of West Harvard Avenue after an employee said a rock had been through the window by a man who was starting to walk away.  The employee followed the suspect until law enforcement arrived. The estimated cost to repair the window was over $1,000.

The 70-year-old was charged with first-degree criminal mischief. He was detained without bail.
