Roseburg Police charged a man for an alleged overnight assault early Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 3:30 a.m. officers responded to a disturbance in the 1000 block of Northeast Stephens Street. They learned that the 32-year-old suspect allegedly chased a victim through the parking lot and ran into her with his bicycle, causing the victim to fall to the ground and injure her wrist. Officers located the suspect a short distance away and took him into custody without incident.

He was charged with fourth-degree assault and was detained on $6,250 bail.
