Roseburg Police stopped 3 people for DUII between Saturday night and early Sunday morning.
An RPD report said at 9:15 p.m. a 52-year-old man was reported to be intoxicated and following other vehicles in the neighborhood in the 1700 block of Northeast Sunset Drive. Officers observed that he was impaired, and the man admitted to drinking alcohol and driving. He consented to standard field sobriety tests and was cited and released from corrections for driving under the influence of intoxicants.
Sunday at 12:50 a.m. officers stopped a 48-year-old man who was driving at nearly 50 miles per hour in a 30 mile per hour zone in the area of Southeast Stephens Street and Southeast Sykes Street. He showed signs of impairment and consented to standard field sobriety tests. He allegedly performed poorly and was jailed for driving under the influence of intoxicants and for driving while suspended. Bail was set at $16,250.
Just after 2:00 a.m. a 48-year-old woman was pulled over after she failed to stop before entering the roadway near the intersection of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard and Northeast Fulton Street, while leaving a business. She agreed to perform standard field sobriety tests and reportedly performed poorly. She was taken to corrections where she was cited and released for driving under the influence of intoxicants.
