Roseburg Police jailed a Glendale man for a reported theft incident on Monday.

An RPD report said at 11:15 a.m. officers responded to Harbor Freight in the 1300 block of Northeast Stephens Street. after a caller said there had been a theft at the business. The 34-year-old was located nearby with $270 worth of stolen tools.

He was taken into custody, charged with second-degree theft and a parole violation.  The man was detained on $6,250 bail.
