Roseburg Police jailed a Winston woman in an alleged embezzlement and theft case on Friday.
An RPD report said while employed as a teller at Oregon Pacific Bank, in the 2500 block of Northwest Edenbower Boulevard, 46-year-old Jamie Springstead allegedly stole $20,000 from a customer, withdrawing small amounts at a time. At 3:30 p.m. she turned herself in and was arrested.
Springstead was charged with 9 counts each of first-degree identity theft, and computer crime and for-degree aggravated theft. She was detained without bail and was released on Sunday.
