ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN ON SECOND-DEGREE BURGLARY CHARGE

Roseburg Police jailed a man on the charge of second burglary on Sunday.

An RPD report said at 3:30 a.m. three male juveniles broke into a store in the 1900 block of Northeast Stephens Street and stole several vapes and alcoholic beverages. They left about two minutes later but returned at 4:30 a.m. and stole more items. They wore hoodies and masks and have not yet been identified.

A 46-year-old man was seen on camera at the store at 4:50 a.m. reaching into the open window and taking items. He was contacted and was taken into custody. The man was charged with second-degree burglary. He was detained without bail.
