Containment on the 4,387-acre Homestead Complex has risen to 17 percent as of midday on Wednesday.
An Umpqua National Forest update said the largest fire remains the 1,660-acre No Man Fire. Tuesday crews worked tactical firing operations westward on the south side of the fire. To the north, firefighters focused on holding, maintaining and strengthening control lines. Two engines have been patrolling the area at night.
On the 1,369-acre Horse Heaven Creek Fire, a couple of small spot fires were caught by firefighters, and the two-acre spot from Monday remained secured. Crews continue burnouts on the eastern flank of the fire.
The 244-acre Salmon 33 Fire continues to stay within its footprint as fire personnel mopped up and continued to establish containment. On the 413-acre Bullpup Fire, helicopter bucket drops have been used to moderate some increased fire activity on the western side of the fire.
On the 332-acre Fuller Lake Fire, crews are engaged in holding and searching for containment opportunities to the north. The 335-acre Reynolds Butte Fire continues to show little activity and crews are continuing mop up in that area. It is close to patrol status.
