The Umpqua Transportation Electrification Team will host an Electric Car Show and Ride event on Sunday September 15th.

The event will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the YMCA of Douglas County on Northwest Stewart Parkway. Vehicles will be in the parking area on the north side of the building. Members of the team come from a wide spectrum of local businesses and organizations and include: Pacific Power, Douglas Electric, Kunert Electric, Roseburg Disposal, Aviva Health, Housing Authority of Douglas County, City of Roseburg and retirees from various companies.

Several brands of electric vehicles will be on display such as Chevrolet, Tesla, Nissan, Ford, Rivian, Arcimoto and Fiat. Owners of the vehicles will be available to answer questions
