ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR PAROLE VIOLATION, CITED FOR METH

Roseburg Police jailed a man for a parole violation on Monday evening.

An RPD report said just after 7:40 p.m. the 51-year-old was contacted in the 500 block of Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard and was found to be wanted by his parole officer. He was arrested without incident and taken to corrections. While at the jail, the man was reportedly found to be in possession of about 0.6 grams of methamphetamine.

He was detained without bail.
