The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality has an Air Pollution Advisory in effect until at least 5:00 p.m. Wednesday for parts of southern Oregon.
DEQ’s advisory is for eastern Douglas, northern Jackson, Klamath and Lake counties, due to wildfires burning in the region. DEQ also expects intermittent smoke in southern Jackson County through this period due to smoke from surrounding fires.
Wildfire smoke combined with forecast conditions will cause air quality levels to fluctuate and could be at unhealthy levels.
