The Diamond Complex on the Umpqua National Forest, consisting of 27 fires, has grown slightly to 8.256 acres, with 743 people assigned.
A UNF update said the Middle Fork Fire in the northwest corner of Crater Lake National Park, has 28 people assigned, but the Diamond Complex is sharing resources as needed. The park remains open.
The largest fires include:
*Potter Fire: 2,367 acres with zero percent contained
*Pine Bench Fire: 2,203 acres with 51 percent contained
*Lemolo Fire:1,247 acres with 6 percent contained
*Trail Fire: 843 acres with 48 percent contained
*Trep Fire: 445 acres with zero percent contained
Smoke will remain in the area and may reduce visibility and hinder air operations.
