Two more people have filed for seats on the Roseburg City Council.
Communications Specialist Suzanne Hurt said last Friday, Ward 1 Councilor David Mohr filed, and is now gathering signatures. Hurt said Mohr was appointed to the seat, so this will be his first election.
Wednesday morning, Steve Hammerson filed for a seat in Ward 2, and is also gathering signatures.
The filing period for candidates who would like to run in the city election remains open until Tuesday, August 27th at 5:00 p.m.
