ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL WOMAN FOR ARSON INCIDENT

Roseburg Police jailed a woman Saturday for an arson incident on July 31st.

An RPD report released late Tuesday said officers contacted 47-year-old Jennifer Holmes just before 4:40 a.m. in the 3000 block of Northeast Stephens Street regarding the previous case.

During the contact Holmes admitted to setting a U-Haul vehicle on fire at the business in the 1100 block of Northeast Stephens Street, before leaving the area. She was taken into custody. Holmes was charged with second-degree arson, first-degree criminal mischief and reckless burning. She was detained on $4,000 bail and was released on Tuesday.
