An elderly Washington State man has gone missing from Canyonville.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 4:50 a.m. Monday, 82-year-old Gyula Cserfoi from Rochester, was reported missing after he started to act erratically and drove off, leaving his passengers at a closed gas station in the 500 block of Pine Street.

Cserfoi had reportedly made statements that he was planning to return to his home. He was entered as a missing person. The man was driving a tan 1990 Chevrolet P30 motorhome.

No further information was released by DCSO.
