MYRTLE CREEK POLICE SEEKING MISSING MCMINNVILLE WOMAN

August 6, 2024 5:15 a.m.

Officials with the Myrtle Creek Police are seeking a missing McMinnville woman.

Detective Kevin Taggart said Monday just before 6:00 p.m. MCPD received a report that 69-year- old Kathleen Wilson had been on her way to visit a friend in Chiloquin, when she ended up staying in the Millsite RV Park in Myrtle Creek for a short time. Taggart said the investigation showed that Wilson left Myrtle Creek a little after 6:00 a.m. Monday in her 2012 Chevrolet Cruze, with Oregon license plate 747EDB. That vehicle was last seen heading eastbound on Highway 138E leaving Roseburg. Wilson never arrived at her destination.

Taggart said it was reported that Wilson didn’t take important medication with her and sounded confused when on the phone with friends and family. Her phone has since died or been shut off. Multiple agencies were notified, and Wilson has been officially listed as an endangered missing person.

MCPD would like to ask citizens to keep an eye out for Wilson and her vehicle, with special attention along the North Umpqua Highway. A picture of Wilson and her sedan are posted with this story at www.541radio.com. Anyone who sees Wilson or her vehicle is asked to 541-440-4471 immediately to report it.
