Sutherlin Police jailed a man following a disturbance on Sunday afternoon.

An SPD report said at 4:30 p.m. a neighbor said that multiple males were physically fighting in the yard of a residence in the 1000 block of West Central Avenue. The caller said he heard someone mention a gun but did not see one.

The report said a 26-year-old man was intoxicated and assaulted two friends, who did not want to pursue charges. He was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and was detained without bail.
