The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for dry lightning over the Diamond Complex. Scattered thunderstorms may also produce gusty and erratic winds.
An Umpqua National Forest update said the complex is now estimated at 6,134 acres and 11 percent contained, with 501 people assigned. Following a day of rapid growth, the Middle Fork fire within Crater Lake National Park is estimated at 1.938 acres and 1 percent contained. The park remains open. Highway 230 north of the park has been impacted by the fire. Firefighters are working from this road to stop the northward progression of the fire. *Pine Bench Fire: 2,117 acres and 10 percent contained
*Lemolo Fire: 873 acres and 10 percent contained
*Trail Fire: 839 acres and 40 percent contained
*Potter Fire: 747 acres and zero percent contained
*Watson Fire: 236 acres and 50 percent contained
