Roseburg Police jailed a man for a parole violation on Monday.

An RPD report said at 10:50 p.m. officers contacted the 25-year-old near the

duck pond in the 1000 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard after having previous knowledge he was absconding. His parole officer authorized a detainer and he was taken into custody without incident. The man was detained without bail.
