A manufactured home was destroyed in an overnight fire in Yoncalla early Sunday morning.

North Douglas County Fire and EMS Fire Chief Brian Burke said crews responded to the fire just after 4:20 a.m. in the 1000 block of Wooley Court. Burke said the fire threatened a neighboring house. It was ultimately limited to the house of origin.

Oakland Rural Fire District, Elkton Rural Fire, Douglas Electric and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office were also dispatched to the scene. Burke said the fire is listed as suspicious and the Oregon State Fire Marshal’s office has been asked to assist with the investigation.
