DIAMOND COMPLEX NOW WITH 24 FIRES AT 4,166 ACRES

The Diamond Complex, burning on the Diamond Lake Ranger District of the Umpqua National Forest is now comprised of 24 fires that are 4,166 acres in size.

A UNF update said the fires are 3 percent contained with 395 personnel assigned.

The largest fires are:

*Pine Bench Fire: 1,546 acres and zero percent contained.

*Trail Fire: 830 acres and 5 percent contained

*Lemolo Fire: 627 acres and zero percent contained

*Potter Fire: 504 acres and zero percent contained

*Watson Fire: 166 acres and zero percent contained

A Diamond Complex Q & A session will be held Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m.  At Diamond Lake Resort. Fire staff will be on hand to answer questions from area residents.
