Roseburg Police jailed a fugitive following a traffic stop Thursday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 4:45 p.m. officers contacted the 31-year-old man during a traffic stop near the Edenbower Boulevard exit from Interstate 5 northbound. Officers learned he had an active warrant out of the Sutherlin Police Department. The man was placed in handcuffs without incident and was transported to corrections.

He was detained for the warrant. Bail was set at $1,158. The man was also cited for a violation count for driving while suspended, driving uninsured and for speeding.
