Roseburg Police jailed a woman for an alleged incident on a U-Trans bus on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 11:00 a.m. officers responded to the corner of West Harvard Avenue and West Harrison Street after a caller said a woman was refusing to get off the bus. When officers arrived, they learned that 51-year-old Shamone McConnell reportedly created a disturbance which caused the bus to stop and the passengers to get off.

McConnell also allegedly threatened to shoot the bus driver when she was asked to get off the bus. Officers arrived on scene and took the suspect into custody without issue.

McConnell was charged with menacing and second-degree counts of criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $3,750.
