Roseburg Police jailed a man for a parole violation on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 10:50 a.m. officers contacted the 48-year-old after a caller said the man was acting disorderly near the intersection of Southeast Oak Avenue and Southeast Rose Street. The suspect was reportedly intoxicated, which was a violation of his parole. His parole officer wanted him detained and he was taken into custody. The man was detained without bail.
