Roseburg Police cited a man for prohibited camping on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 9:00 a.m. the 53-year-old was contacted in the interior nature area of the duck pond in the 1000 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. The man reportedly had a large camp set up 10 feet from the edge of Newton Creek. He had been warned numerous times that camping is not allowed in the duck pond area.  The man was released after the citation was issued.
