In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

Music in the Park continues Thursday night at Millsite Park in Myrtle Creek.

Coordinated by the Myrtle Creek/Tri City area Chamber of Commerce, the series began in 1987 and is the longest running free concert series in the county. Concerts run from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. during July and August.

This week local group AVID will be on stage. Neriah Hart, Shawn Reedy and Travis Bateson will perform rock and roll covers and originals.

Concerts continue through August 22nd.
