Roseburg Police jailed a man for a restraining order violation on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 11:05 a.m. the 63-year-old was served with a restraining order. Ten minutes later he walked over to the residence he was restrained from in the 2800 block of West Sherwood Avenue and knocked on the front door. The man told officers he didn’t read the entire restraining order.

He was detained on $5,000 bail.
