ROSEBURG MAN JAILED FOR DRIVING WHILE SUSPENDED

A Roseburg man was jailed by Roseburg Police for driving while suspended on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 5:30 p.m. officers contacted the 44-year-old during a traffic stop at the intersection of Southeast Main Street and Southeast Douglas Avenue. Officers learned the man was also driving uninsured. The suspect said he knew his license was suspended. He was taken into custody and detained on $6,250 bail. The man was released later in the day.
