Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office jailed a man for DUII on Saturday afternoon.
A DCSO report said at approximately 2:40 p.m. the 58-year-old was called in as leaving from a location intoxicated. A deputy checked the area and saw the suspect stumbling out from a residence in the 200 block of Club Avene, north of Roseburg, to his vehicle. The man told the deputy that he had gone to a bar and drank two beers before returning home.
The man allegedly performed poorly on standard field sobriety tests. He provided a breath sample with blood alcohol level of 0.28. The man was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was detained without bail.
