Roseburg Police jailed a man following a reported theft incident on Saturday.

An RPD report said at 11:00 a.m. officers responded to a store in the 1300 block of Northeast Stephens Street after a caller said there had been a theft. Officers were flagged down by 21-year-old Bradly Carter who informed them he had committed a theft and knew he was trespassed from the store.

Carter was taken into custody without incident. He was charged with first-degree criminal trespass, third-degree theft and a parole violation. Carter was detained on $7,500 bail.
