A California man was jailed on the charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants and reckless driving on Sunday afternoon.

An Oregon State Police report said just before 4:45 p.m. troopers were dispatched to a traffic complaint on Interstate Five northbound near the Harvard Avenue interchange. A suspect vehicle was stopped for multiple violations. The 50-year-old driver from Pacoima showed signs of impairment and reportedly performed poorly on standard field sobriety tests.

He was detained without bail and was released on Monday morning.
