Central Douglas Fire and Rescue Authority invites the public to join them as they launch the new agency.

An open house pancake breakfast will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the administrative office on Southeast Main Street in Winston. That will be right before Winton’s Independence Day Parade. Following the parade, the agency will provide hot dogs, cookies, and beverages for lunch. Fire engine rides will be offered along with a hose for children to extinguish a mock house fire.

Agency materials will be available as well.  Central Douglas Fire and Rescue Authority formerly operated as Douglas County Fire District #2 and the Winston-Dillard Fire District.
