The driver was taken to the hospital, following a rollover accident on Friday afternoon.

Information from Roseburg Police said just after 3:15 p.m. a large SUV was westbound on Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard when it rolled and ended up in the parking lot of a business in the 3300 block, striking a parked vehicle. The driver had to be extricated by the Roseburg Fire Department.

Roseburg Police Chief Gary Klopfenstein said the driver was responsive but appeared to be severely injured. She was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center by ambulance. Klopfenstein said the woman might need to be transferred to an out of area medical facility.

Officers established probable cause to arrest the 33-year-old from Myrtle Creek for driving under the influence of an intoxicant. She was cited for DUII and released at Mercy.

The SUV and the vehicle hit were both towed from the scene.
