Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office charged a woman with third-degree theft on Thursday.

A DCSO report said at 2:30 p.m. the 45-year-old was allegedly acting erratic inside a store in the 4600 block of Carnes Road in Green. A deputy located her down an aisle reportedly using tissues, baby oil and Zyrtek that she hadn’t paid for. The deputy advised the suspect that she would have to leave and asked her if she was going to pay for the items that she had used.

The report said the woman said something the deputy described as “extremely vulgar” and walked straight to a side door, where she waited for it to open. The deputy took her into custody for shoplifting. The items the woman had used were 99 cents worth of tissues, Zyrtek costing $25.99, baby oil selling for $3.99 and a $4.99 hairbrush which was full of her hair.

The woman was detained without bail.
